Computer Science & Applications - Profile

Department of Computer Science  was established in 2004-2005 academic year and Computer Applications was established in 2020-2021 academic year. The Department is mainly concerned with development of software applications with deep knowledge.   Students learn fundamental concepts of Computer hardware and become familiar with a variety of computer applications including word processing, spread sheet, databases, language like C, SQL, JAVA, Python, HTML etc.

The Department of Computer Science and Applications is a well established and highly recognized in terms of academics and student strength in its undergraduate programs. The department regularly updates its curriculum in accordance with UGC guidelines as well as latest advancements in the relevant fields. The department not only focuses on nurturing both curricular and extracurricular talent/skills of students but also makes an endeavor to play a vital role in the applications of computers by promoting innovative work
