BRIEF HISTORY:
Department of Commerce in Viswakavi Vemana Government Degree College, Kothapeta was established in the year 1979 when the college had incorporated, from then the Department is running successfully. At present the Department has three sanctioned posts in which two Regular Faculty and one Contract faculty are working. The Department is offering UG Courses in both General and Re-structured Computers) streams. Initially in 1979 the B.Com General course was started and in the Academic Year 2020-21 B.Com restructured course i.e B.Com computer applications has been introduced.
