The inhabitants of the Godavari Districts are well known for the warmth of hospitality and affectionate treatment of their guests from all part of the country and elsewhere. In keeping with that honorary tradition and spirit of time-honoured cultural heritage, we extend to you a hearty welcome to our college with nearly a Century and a half standing and stature in this ancient town on the holy and pious banks of the Godavari, a perennial river.
We, the Alumni of this great College, claim the proud privilege of having been associated with the distinctions of the College and its old and present students in various countries of the world, U.K., U.S.A., AUSTRALIA, NEWZEALAND, CANADA and the EAST. We may be permitted to detail out, some distinguished features of our Alma mater for your approval and acceptance. Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishna was a teacher for an academic year [1917-19] in our College [then Government College Kothapeta] which was the only one in Northern Circars.
